I can post some pics of it "as found" if anyone is interested? Hi everyone, I' m new to BCF, love my two smokes and have been riding them since the early 70's, I need a little help if poss, I have just bought a rally sport125, it's uk reg on an F plate, the guy that I got it from advertised it as a MTX, I think that it may be from France, I have a problem with it, the wireing has been hacked about (which I think that I can sort) but the biggest issue is that the coil has been removed, I don't know what it looks like or where it bolts to the frame, a pic of it's location would be a great help. Those cable operated disc brakes were awful on some of those Honda machines!!ĬBT: 12/06/10, Theory: 22/09/10, Module 1: 09/11/10, Module 2: 19/01/11 I'm not giving the Chinese bikes any excuse, I'm only saying what I believe why the Jap bikes didn't use discs on lots of offroaders until the 90's.ĭiscs and calipers are so common, the price of either is neither here nor there anymore I think.Įither way, discs have got alot better with time aswel, better progressive braking can be done with a modern bike than an early disc brake.
#Honda mtx 125 manuals manual#
Here is what the manual states about this: For Service and Overhaul procedures refer to your Engine Service.

I highly doubt they use them because of the reasons you stated MTX125 / MTX-125 MTX135 / MTX-135 MTX140 / MTX-140 MTX150 / MTX-150 MTX155 / MTX-155 MTX165 / MTX-165 MTX175 / MTX-175 MTX185 / MTX-185 MTX200 / MTX-200 PLEASE NOTE: This manual does not include information on the ENGINE or FUEL SYSTEM. Just seems to be the trademark feature of a "modern" chinese bike these days.
